OK, this is one of the things I saw in use on the trail and thought it might be on the “to get” list (got one yesterday) but in nosing around REI.com I found this little gem. (put your cup down, you’ll be giggling too much to drink.)

That actually looks amazingly useful. I may have to get one before next winter. Also, I’m really enjoying the entries about the trail.
